Local Artwork - Carol Dooley - Award Winning Artist

Since retiring, Carol has become a valued member of various local art groups where she exhibits and sells her work. She has had success in having a painting selected by The Artist & Leisure Painter magazine which allowed her to exhibit at the prestigious Patching’s Farm Arts Festival. Other paintings of Carol’s have been chosen to be included in the SAA Paint magazine and her paintings have been awarded the People’s Choice Award while on exhibit at the Castle Park Arts Centre, numerous occasions at the Weaver Vale Art Society and Commended a few times at Chester Art Society exhibitions. Her paintings have been selected to be used in the 2018/19 and 2020 Northwich Calendar. She is currently the Chairman for the Weaver Vale Art Society and hosts a successful art group teaching watercolour at Age UK in Northwich. Carol now lives in Hartford, Northwich and is continually looking for ways to promote her work, some of which can be seen at different venues throughout the year. Her paintings are on show annually during the Northwich Art Trail. She exhibits at various exhibitions including the Grosvenor Art Society of Chester and the Weaver Vale Art Society in Acton Bridge.
